Special reports and individual inspections

Special entries are possible after the car has been accepted by an authorized test-centre and a German vehicle title has been awarded.

After that, the vehicle has to be provided with the appropriate special certificates.

Because US or Canadian vehicles do not comply with German regulations according to §70 StVZO an exception is made in some cases for the registration of US vehicles.

This includes for example: ID Number of the car, photometric equipment, e.g. headlamp range adjustment.
